Journalling with the Moon

At our moon circles we leave space for journalling time. Journalling is a way of writing down thoughts to gain an understanding and clarity and bring us back to our own intuition and inner guidance to gain inspiration and ideas. Using journalling can also help us develop an intention to take forward for the moonth ahead. It can be like a meditation, allowing a time to reflect and pause.

"Practice listening to your intuition, your inner voice; ask questions; be curious ... these intuitive powers were given to your soul at birth " - Clarissa Pinkola Estés

During circle there are opportunities to share our journalling as sharing what we have written can bring about a deeper understanding to our words, however there is no obligation to share from our journal as this can be a very personal process.

"That is what the intuition is for: it is the direct messenger of the soul." - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Soulful Woman cards by Shushann Movsessian & Gemma Summers

This Autumn season, as part of The Wild Woman Project we have been exploring poetry as a way of developing a deep listening and a quiet space within ourselves to be able to listen to our intuition more easily. We have been inspired by the poet Mary Oliver who keeps a daily journal and many of her poems are a celebration of the natural world

“Bless the notebook that I always carry in my pocket. And the pen. Bless the words with which I try to say what I see, think, or feel. With gratitude for the grace of the earth.” - Mary Oliver

We also LOVE journalling to music in circle as it helps provide a moment of reflection and particularly enjoy listening to Beautiful Chorus:

If you feel the call to join us at our next seasonal celebration, we will be celebrating Samhain on Monday 1st November. Please claim your seat in circle HERE.

Gather with us in sacred circle to welcome in the days of regenerative power, magical connections and the time of rebirth! An evening of songs, healing sounds, meditations, folklore, intention setting & Samhain celebrations.

Hannah & Jooles will delicately underpin these celebrations and meditations with healing sounds. You will be cocooned in the harmonious tones of the Tibetan Bowls, Koshi Wind Chimes, the Frame Drum and softly sung Mantras.

We invite you to bring along something sacred to share - be that a poem, a picture, a crystal, an element of nature, a song or a quote!
